Tell them what your favorite line in the book is and why. Also, ask the author some questions--tell them what you might be wondering about how they wrote it or came up with ideas. Feel free to think outside the box when writing this letter and go beyond my suggestions. Your response should be 2-3 paragraphs and don't forget to address your letter (Dear Mr/Ms....) to the author and sign it! Note: You are not required to actually mail this letter to the author. This should be written in the back of your journal like all of your other entries.

Your response should be 2-3 paragraphs and don't forget to address your letter (Dear Mr/Ms....) to the author and sign it! Note: You are not required to actually mail this letter to the author.
